The New Legacy Project Inc. mission is to promote inclusive, sustainable, prosperity by helping Maryland residents and small businesses earn more, save more, and engage more locally.

We know that lost jobs, failed business, foreclosed homes, and social injustice is not the legacy that Marylanders envision for the next generation. The New Legacy Project Inc. is a IRS recognized 501(c)3 non-profit community development organization incorporated in 2015 after 2 years of informal community activism.

NLP envisions neighborhoods with diverse leadership in public and private sectors cooperating with socially responsible citizens to ensure that everyone gets a quality education, a stable career opportunity, a safe and affordable place to call home in a vibrant community for generations to come.

By demonstrating the power of partnership, the value of diversity, and the impact of giving back, NLP hopes to build a community that has both the desire and the means to pass on a powerful legacy to future generations.

NLP is managed by a volunteer Board of Directors and its services are provided by industry professionals and trained community members who volunteer their time because they believe in the mission.
